take a bucket of water and empty it on the ground. You got any tips to add? I am also curious if #1 is intended by the devs or if it was a oversight. Only downside to questing is sometimes you have to run 1 km+ to the quest, which before a vehicle really kinda sucks. Only poi's I loot without a quest are the ones that never get them, like some stores. Only way I do is if I happen to get a quest for a poi I already quested at, which with the random nature of the quests sometimes happens. I never double dip on poi's myself so thats up to you. ![]() Early game vitamins are like gold, as they let you eat pretty much anything for 10 minutes, though it is a bit more risky now that some foods cause health damage when eaten, like animal fat and the sham sandwhiches.Ĥ: Quest often: I cannot stress this enough, when you start a quest your given a fresh poi to loot, even if you don't double loot it (Loot it before quest then use quest ! to reset it), you earn dukes, a nice chunk of exp, and loot, and it gives you something to do. You can also use a vitamin right before, it makes you immune to disease for 10 mins. If your struggling eat those sham sandwhiches, its a 12% chance of dysentery, and after eating 10+ of those sandwhiches I finally managed to catch it. Only issue you may have doing this is finding a initial water source to use the bucket on once.ģ: Food, Dysentery is not that big of a problem in A19, it causes periodic food/water (mostly water) loss, and will go away on its own once it counts down, drinking goldenrod tea makes it go away a tad faster, and the food/water drains gets reduced (I think). Boom infinite drinking water for 7 forged iron and some stones and wood. Store the bucket in a storage chest near the ditch, when you fill water jars, just take the bucket out, pickup the water left in the ditch and just replace it to refill it. You dig a 5 block wide, 1 deep trench, then take the bucket of water and dump it in the middle of the ditch, wait a few seconds, now pick up the water you just placed at the end of it, you'll notice some stays behind, now move a block over or 2, and place the water from the bucket again, Viola filled ditch, (Might need a 3rd pick up and drop). Same trick works for food too, it can store 20 over cap, but there is no real benefit to it compared to water.Ģ: Infinite water, this trick has been around for a while, to do it all you need is a stone shovel and a bucket, and a initial water source. Any water over that 20 overflow cap though is used at 1 per second till it hits 20. Some base designs take advantage of this, such as the Boom Box from Grand Spartan.I don't know if some of these are intended or not but there is 2 tricks i've found out on my own.ġ: Stamina regen, when you drink you notice how there is that counter that counts down? well, it can store up to 20 above your cap, which then is used slowly as its needed, however what you may not know is for as long as that counter stays there, you gain the stamina regen bonus from drinking till its gone, which can last upwards of 3-5 minutes per boiled water, its only 1 more stamina per tick regen but it makes a bigger difference than you think. You can also use the exploding bolts to ignite pipe bombs. Alternatively, the rocket launcher can be used. The explosive bolts also cause only minor block damage. Therefore, there is less risk of a Demolisher exploding in the base. Unless this has been changed in A19, AOE damage will not trigger the explosion. Especially if you have a large amount of zombies and not the standard 8 zombies. ![]() If you don't pay attention for once and instead of the zombie in the foreground you hit the Demolisher behind it. In my experience you have the same problem when you shoot Demolisher zombies. ![]() ![]() Not mentioning that you'll damage your structures in the long run and globally render yourself weaken against the Horde.īut sure, anything is possible and if someone really wanna make it more tedious and grindy for themselves, yeah they can go ahead and grow that Super Corn. If we're talking about late gamestage Blood Moons, you dont wanna abuse of anything explosive since the swarms of Zs are huge and will inevitably have some Demos merging in, making it very risky to trigger them with such arrows. Most people rely on firearms with AP ammo for efficiency. But that's not what the majority of people will adopt as a strategy. Well this is very situational and conditional to a very specific way if playing from someone who wants some extra, self-imposed challenge. That means you need 300-400 glue per week. You need one duct tape per bolt and per horde you need about 300-400 bolts. Eternity can be very short if you need large amounts of glue/duct tape.įor example if you make exploding crossbow bolts for a late game zombie horde with 64 zombies.
